Concept
Beyond the Box transforms everyday urban infrastructure into public art that invites connection. The project uses utility boxes as a canvas for imagery that celebrates diversity and shared humanity.
Motivated by my experiences coming of age in Los Angeles and witnessing both the beauty and challenges of multicultural interactions, I aimed to capture what it looks like when people embrace difference with warmth and unity.
Love and Acceptance
Love and Acceptance presents a vibrant and diverse scene that highlights the power of love in fostering inclusion. Warm earth tones stand out against the concrete environment as figures from different backgrounds stand together shoulder to shoulder. The piece was painted in multiple stages: 3 layers of priming, and 3 full days of painting on site.
The work celebrates the richness of diverse cultures coming together in harmony and advocates for a world where love and acceptance unite us all.
